[:en]UArtes Summer School aims to provide its participants with an unforgettable stay in Guayaquil and Ecuador. In addition to the study program, there is an option to use of our different facilities, such as our all patrimonial buildings including the library and our New Center of Culture and Innovation.

These activities include visits to museums, galleries, ecological reservations, traditional neighborhoods and coastal towns, all during your stay here in Guayaquil.  Moreover, become part of a great cultural program proposed by UArtes.

Guayaquil 2 days excursion: Friday and Saturday

Embark on a journey through Ecuador´s main port, visiting the cultural, touristic and culinary attractions of the city that welcomes you.

Playa de Olón and Puerto López: 3 days excursion: Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Enjoy long walks alongside the extensive shores of Olón beach. This trip includes an excursion to Isla de la Plata, where you will be able to see humpback whales. Also, explore the archeological community located in Agua Blanca and visit Los Frailes, a protected beach in Machalilla´s National Park.

Manglares Churute and Cuenca: 3 days excursion: Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Visit the ecological reserve of mangroves in Churute; the most extensive estuary along the Pacific Coast of South America. Walk through Cajas National Park and get to know the beautiful and colonial city of Cuenca. Finally, get the opportunity to visit the most representative archeological ruins in Ecuador.[:es]Como parte de la Escuela de Verano, durante las 4 semanas serás parte del Programa de Viajes, donde podrás descubrir la biodiversidad, geografía y cultura de Ecuador, viajando a los siguientes lugares turísticos:

Guayaquil 2 días de excursión (Viernes y sábado)

Recorrido por el puerto principal del Ecuador y sus característicos atractivos culturales, turísticos y culinarios de la ciudad que los acoge.

Playa de Olón and Puerto López, 3 días de excursión (Viernes, sábado y domingo)

Caminatas por la extensa playa de Olón, excursión a la Isla de la Plata, avistamiento de ballenas jorobadas. Recorrido por la comunidad arqueológica de Agua Blanca, paseo a Los Frailes, playa protegida del Parque Nacional Machalilla.

Manglares Churute and Cuenca, 3 días de excursión (Viernes, sábado y domingo)

Visita a la Reserva Ecológica Manglares Churute, el estuario más extenso de la costa pacífica de América del Sur. Caminata por el Parque Nacional del Cajas. City tour por la hermosa y colonial ciudad de Cuenca, y visita a las ruinas arqueológicas más importantes del Ecuador.[:]
